When my husband and I went to visit Michelle for the first time, we were not feeling very optimistic. We had spent the previous six months on an emotional and physical roller coaster. Although the fertility clinic at Kaiser found no reason why I couldn’t get pregnant, they offered for me to take Clomid to help with my ovulation, since I was 39 years old. I took the first round and they did an insemination. Turns out the Clomid gave me an ovarian cyst and I had to go back on the pill to get rid of it. This was obviously frustrating since it completely went in the opposite direction of trying to conceive. After the cyst shrunk, they offered the Clomid again, stating that it could only increase my chances of pregnancy. Unfortunately I decided to do it again, and this time I ended up with 2 cysts on one ovary. The solution the doctor gave me was to go on the pill again, and the next steps after the pill would be IVF. At this point I knew I had to reevaluate and go in a completely different direction. One of my best friends was seeing Michelle at Conception Wellness to help with her Endometriosis. She had a lot of success so she suggested I go and have a consult with her.

The first thing my husband and I noticed when we met Michelle was how positive she was about helping us. She reassured us that there was no reason why we couldn’t get pregnant, but it would take some work. We needed to “detox” my body to get all the hormones and medications out of my system, and most importantly get rid of the two ovarian cysts. Michelle was extremely diligent about taking down all of my medical history. We went over all the medications and health issues that I have had over the years. My family has always condsidered me the “delicate flower” because I am so sensitive to medications (should’ve known not to go the Clomid route!). I felt like Michelle was really focused on the big picture (getting me healthy), and not just about the pregnancy. When we left the office after our consultation, our faith had been restored that we could indeed, still get pregnant the natural way. We were feeling very optimistic once again!

I started seeing MIchelle regularly and within a month or two my cysts were gone! She had me change my diet, added supplments into my daily routine, and set up appointments to see her on a regular basis. I was never familiar with acupuncture and its benefits, so  sometimes I was very skeptical about the treatment. However, when I saw the results of how much better I was feeling, I was a true believer! Michelle is very knowledegable about her trade, and her confidence in what she does can only make you believe. She really cares about her patients and genuinely wants to help them.

It took a while to get my body back to a healthy state, and low and behold, we got pregnant! It was the best 40th birthday present I could have received. I continued seeing Michelle throughout my entire pregnancy for treatments. I am now 34 weeks pregnant and I have had a very healthy and easy pregnancy. Both my husband and I attribute that to Michelle and the work she has done to help me. She has been there every step of the way. I can confide in her with any issues, questions, or concerns that I am having. She is patient and has the best overall energy. I will continue to see her through the end of my pregnancy, and even after I give birth. We are truly grateful to Michelle and everyone at Conception Wellness for their outstanding services. We feel like we have been very blessed to have worked with Michelle and would highly recommend her to everyone. – Shoshana Ganster

I am 38 weeks pregnant, with twins, and that was my goal! One of the hardest parts about carrying 2 is keeping them in there, and Michelle came highly recommended to me due to her phenomenal success in this department…so why not! Before acupuncture, she used to be a labor and delivery nurse which added to my comfort because I was able to ask questions relating to my future C section. I have to believe she is solely the reason that I have reached my goal. Michelle is professional, genuinely friendly and I would recommend her to any expectant mother of twins! – Cindy Nelson
